Keuka Lake Art Show 2014 Winners

The 48th Annual Keuka Lake Art Show was held on July 12-13, on the Village Square in Hammondsport.  Judging the show this year were Stephanie McMahon and Jason Greene, professors at Alfred University.

In the Drawing & Graphics category the winners were:  First Place (John Rogerson Memorial), Susan DeSeyn; Second place, Mike Goscinsky, and Third Place, Matthew Buckholz.

In the Jewelry category:  First place, Stephen LeBlanc, Second place, Leah Corey, Third Place, Deb Parsons, and Honorable Mention, Len Curran.

In the Oils & Acrylics Amateur category:  First place, Elaine Sherwood, Second place, Neil Cudworth, Third place, Phiddy Webb, and Honorable Mention, Peter Rentz.

In the Oils & Acrylics Professional category:  First place, Judith Hartke, Second place, Daniel Roemmelt, Third place, John J. Kotlinski, and Honorable Mention, John Jagla.

In the Photography category:  First Place (Myrna Marshall Memorial), Kevin Schoonover, Second Place, Anne Marie Maier, Third Place, Steve Knapp, and Honorable Mention, George Smith.

In the Pottery category:  First Place, Kay Brooks, and Second Place, Angela Cartwright.

In the Sculpture category:  First Place (Elwyn Pierce Memorial), Jim and Lynn Wettach, Second Place, Elijah Smith, and Third Place, Leah Corey.

In the Watercolor Amateur category:  First Place, Johnna Folts, and Honorable Mention, Anna Shepherd.

In the Watercolor Professional category:  First Place,  Bill Mowson, Second Place, Bruce Shoemaker, Third Place, Juanita Link, and Honorable Mention, Garrett Berry.

The Jeanne M. Lent Memorial Awards were presented to Robert Graves in the category for College Students.

The High School Awards were presented to Alexandra Schlecter, Alannah Materne, Matthew Dunn, and Honorable Mentions to Shelby Bystrak and Evan McDowell.

The Midge Bailey Memorial Award which is selected by Committee’s Choice was given to Bill Deats.
